According to China Economic Times, an online evaluation meeting for the scientific and technological achievement “Key Technology Research and Application of Resolver Analyzers” was recently organized by the National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center. Seven authoritative experts from institutions including the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Zhejiang University unanimously concluded that the resolver analyzer developed by Hunan MIAIXI Measurement & Control Technology Co., Ltd., a controlled subsidiary of Hunan XUANCE Technology Co., Ltd., has reached an internationally advanced level. The result represents a major breakthrough in China's high-end resolver testing equipment market and supports the independent development of high-end manufacturing.
The evaluation followed principles of legality, independence, objectivity, and fairness and focused on technology innovation, performance indicators, and market application. The expert panel included specialists from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhejiang University, Xi'an Micromotor Research Institute, the National Institute of Metrology, China Jiliang University, Beihang University, and Xiamen University of Technology. Professor Ma Xiushui of NingboTech University served as panel chair.
As a core sensor in servo-control systems for defense, aerospace, and new-energy vehicles, the resolver directly affects control accuracy and operational stability. Resolver analyzers serve as the critical benchmark for factory inspection. For years, the domestic high-precision resolver analyzer market was dominated by foreign companies such as NAI and ADI, creating high procurement costs, long maintenance cycles, and supply-chain risks.
Since its establishment in 2018, MIAIXI has pursued the goal of breaking foreign monopolies and achieving domestic substitution. Led by General Manager Chen Leshu, a dedicated team including technical expert Huang Zhihua focused on angular-sensor testing and developed core technologies such as high-precision resolver angle decoding, automatic phase calibration, and digital Scott-T transformers. The company's resolver analyzer has fully independent intellectual property rights and fills a domestic gap in high-end test instruments.
At the technical review, the expert panel noted the following performance:
- Decoding accuracy of 5 arcseconds at a 10 kHz carrier frequency, 3.6 times better than comparable products.
- Accuracy within 5 arcseconds across a wide 1–10 kHz frequency range.
- Stable decoding at 50 kHz and even 100 kHz, filling a gap in ultra-high-frequency resolver testing.
- Input impedance of 100 kΩ to reduce signal-loading interference.
- Angular resolution of 0.1 arcsecond and phase-measurement accuracy of 0.02 degrees.
- Simultaneous high-speed measurement of impedance, voltage, current, and other parameters.
With its highly integrated design, one analyzer can replace up to six high-end instruments, including angle-position indicators and phase-angle voltmeters. The product supports synchronized multi-parameter and dynamic all-condition measurement. Its win rate in industry tenders is close to 100%, and its overall market share exceeds 70%. It is used in defense, aerospace, and new-energy vehicle applications, with cumulative sales approaching RMB 100 million. Testing efficiency has improved by more than 200%, with the fastest single-unit test completing in under one second and comprehensive testing costs reduced by about 70%.
The product currently inspects approximately 30 million resolvers per year, covering nearly one-third of the global market. Between 70% and 80% of resolvers produced in China are tested or validated using this equipment. New-energy vehicles and robotics are major growth drivers.
MIAIXI holds two invention patents and five software copyrights, with three additional invention patents pending. Panel chair Professor Ma Xiushui said: “MIAIXI's product is not only a breakthrough in accuracy, but also a strong addition to China's domestic test and measurement ecosystem.” He recommended further refining the core innovations, advancing fully domestic core-chip development, and improving dynamic-error analysis.
Industry observers noted that the internationally advanced evaluation is both recognition of MIAIXI's core technology and an important milestone in the localization of high-end Chinese test instruments. It demonstrates that China's resolver-testing sector can compete with leading international solutions and supports greater supply-chain autonomy.
MIAIXI will continue focusing on independent innovation in angular sensors and motor testing, overcoming core technical bottlenecks, improving full-chain industry services, and expanding both Chinese and international markets.
