The association standard Technical Requirements for Condition Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis of Servo Systems (standard number T/DZJN 538—2026), proposed and administered by the China Electronics Energy Saving Technology Association, has been officially released. Hunan XUANCE Technology Co., Ltd. participated as one of the principal drafting organizations.
The standard defines the overall framework and technical requirements for servo-system condition monitoring and fault diagnosis. It covers servo motors, servo drives, and their internal or external sensors and applies to the design, development, and implementation of monitoring and diagnostic systems. Its release fills a gap in association standards for intelligent servo-system maintenance and provides a unified technical specification and implementation guide.
Core Technical Content
The standard establishes a three-layer architecture consisting of a perception layer, data-processing layer, and decision-execution layer:
- Data-acquisition layer: Collects multidimensional operating data through vibration, temperature, current, voltage, and other sensors, covering the stator, rotor, bearings, and other critical parts of the servo motor.
- Condition-monitoring layer: Uses Fourier transforms, wavelet transforms, and other algorithms to extract time-domain, frequency-domain, and time-frequency features. Neural networks, support vector machines, and other intelligent algorithms build condition-assessment models that classify operation as normal, minor fault, moderate fault, or severe fault.
- Fault-diagnosis layer: Provides early warning, fault localization to within one component level, cause analysis, probability ranking, and maintenance recommendations.
The standard also introduces several key monitoring methods specific to servo systems, including Park-vector magnitude analysis, online permanent-magnet flux identification, online motor-resistance identification, envelope-demodulation analysis, and order analysis. It specifies sampling frequencies, accuracy requirements, and monitoring objectives for critical parameters, giving system designers and developers quantitative guidance.
Continued Leadership in Standardization
Founded in 2021, Hunan XUANCE Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise specializing in angular sensing and precision drive. It entered the resolver-testing segment with disruptive innovation, broke foreign technology monopolies, and built a full-chain service system spanning test equipment, production equipment, technical consulting, and high-end product development.
XUANCE has previously participated in the formulation of one national standard and two national military standards. In December 2025, it supported the resolver standardization workshop and the launch of two association standards. The release of this servo-system monitoring standard is another important milestone in the company's standards leadership.
XUANCE will continue focusing on angular sensing and precision drive, using technology innovation to support more industry and association standards and contribute to high-quality development of China's servo-system and intelligent-equipment industries.
